SARASOTA COUNTY - Investigators with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man they say used a stolen credit card at the Nokomis CVS last month.

49-year-old Jeffrey Irwin has been charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

On September 19th, a man was seen purchasing two cartons of cigarettes and a Mountain Dew at the CVS on North Tamiami Trail in Nokomis with what later turned out to be a stolen credit card.

That card was later reported stolen from a home on Bayview Drive that same night.

Deputies say that a Nokomis woman contacted the sheriff's office earlier this month and identified Irwin as the man in surveillance images from the CVS transaction.  She says she had recently allowed him to stay in her Nokomis home.
