2 critical after stabbing in Venice

VENICE, FL. – Two people are in critical condition after being stabbed early Sunday morning.

It happened around 4am on the 1700 block of S. Tamiami Trail in Venice.

31-year-old Ronald DiCapua and 37-year-old Kyle DeSantis and the victims were involved in an argument, which then turned physical. One of the suspects pulled out a cutting instrument and cut both victims.

Deputies took the suspects into custody shortly after their arrival.

The victims were air-lifted to Blake Trauma Center in critical condition.

The Criminal Investigations Section is investigating this incident.
