Charlotte County teen charged with molesting classmate at school

PUNTA GORDA - Police say a Charlotte High School senior sexually molested another student -- a 15-year-old girl -- at the school last week.

Punta Gorda Police say that 18-year-old Gabriel Perez touched the girl inappropriately in an empty classroom when they went to get something for a teacher at the school Wednesday.

The victim told school counselors what happened, and police arrested Perez the next day.
