PORT CHARLOTTE - The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance with locating a missing Port Charlotte Man.

CCSO deputies are attempting to locate 59-year-old Peter Berdayes. He was last seen Friday between 8am and 1pm at The Haven, 603 Woodberry Drive in Port Charlotte, where he simply walked off the property and has not returned to his residence.

Berdayes is described to be 5’09’’/190lbs medium build, either dark brown or black slicked back medium length hair, mustache and is possibly wearing black framed glasses. Peter does have some medical issues and does not have his medicine with him. He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, a black jacket and black pants.

Berdayes may be in the general area of coffee shops that he likes to frequent. It is also possible he may intend to go back to the Miami area as this is where he formerly lived.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Berdayes, please call the CCSO at 941-639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
