VENICE - The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance identifying a suspect seen at the site of a Venice home burglary.

The home was burglarized three times since September.

Surveillance video shows a late model Subaru Forrester with what appears to be a New York license plate driving on and off the East Venice Avenue property with two occupants inside.

Another camera captured a white male about 6’ 2” tall, 280 pounds, wearing a long sleeve shirt, shorts and a hat.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Criminal Investigations at 941-861-1719 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 941-366-TIPS (8477), or online at www.sarasotacrimestoppers.com or via text message by texting TIP109 plus a message to CRIMES (274637).
