VENICE, Fla. - Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for several reported flashings around the Venice area.

30-year-old Joshua Moss is the third person to be arrested for indecent exposure this month.

Venice Police Chief Tom McNulty and Capt. Tom Mattmuller went on patrol Tuesday specifically to look for Moss. The department had a warrant for the arrest of Moss, charged with lewd and lascivious behavior.

Chief McNulty and Capt. Mattmuller were checking places where homeless people are known to gather, when they found Moss.

Police say Moss is the man involved in two incidents in the area of the Venice Avenue Bridge and another incident in the area of the Hatchett Creek Bridge in recent weeks.  They say the same suspect had exposed himself at Kilwin’s Ice Cream store, on West Venice Avenue on August 12th.

Police have already made two other arrests for indecent exposure in the Venice area recently.  On Saturday, 50-year-old William Waldman was caught in a lewd act in the Sharky's parking lot.  He was arrested and charged with five counts of Indecent Exposure, including one incident in which he left a note for women at the beach offering them $200 for a lewd act.

The day before that, 76-year-old Albert Hickerson was arrested at Caspersen Beach after undercover police, who were searching for Waldman at the time, saw him exposing himself.

ABC 7's Josh Taylor will have more on this story as it becomes available.
