Sheriff's Deputies looking into suspicious fire in Bradenton

BRADENTON, FL- Manatee County Detectives are looking into a suspicious fire on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Sheriff's Office report, the fire department was called to the 4400 block of 20th Street West , just behind "The Gates" Apartment complex.  When crews arrived they found paper trees on fire behind the complex.  Witnesses reported seeing numerous young people running away from that area.  The location is a known hangout for kids to smoke.

No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
