Sarasota Sheriff's Deputies looking for suspect that held up a gas station

SARASOTA, FL- Sarasota Sheriff's Deputies continue their search for a suspect they say held up a gas station by gunpoint.

It happened late Sunday night at the Shell gas station located on the 2800 block of Bee Ridge Road.  According to a report, the suspect entered the store with a t-shirt over his face and ordered the store clerk at gun point to provide him with money.

The clerk did as told and the suspect fled the scene on foot.  Sarasota Sheriff's K-9 patrol, and helicopter unit searched for the supect over night.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
