Sarasota man arrested in connection with residential and commercial burglaries

SARASOTA, FL- A Sarasota man is facing multiple charges of burglarizing both commercial and residential homes.

22 year old Jason Flores of Sarasota was arrested this week on charges of Burglary, and Possession of Burglary tools.   More charges are pending. Flores’ charges  are in connection to four burglaries. Flores has been charged with a commercial burglary which  happened in the morning (1899 Fruitville Rd) before burglarizing three other residences (2466 Loma Linda, 2380 Bahia Vista St and 2253 Bahia Vista Rd).

Flores was arrested he was seen by officers running in an area neighborhood. “Here is a great example of people watching out for one another and what it can result in. Thanks to an observant resident calling 911, our officers were able to apprehend Flores. We just want to remind  residents, lock it up. Lock your homes, your vehicles and your screen doors to your homes and protect  yourself. If you see something suspicious, call 911,” said Lt. Pat Ledwith, Bureau of Criminal
