Private gun sales discussed on ABC7 at 7

SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - A few months ago, with just two weeks left in the legislative sessions, the Republican controlled legislature adopted the first gun control legislation in Florida in years.  One of the main parts of the bill was raising the age to buying a rifle to 21-years-old.  It didn't however change the sale of buying a weapon from a friend, relative or another person where no background check is required.

On Monday at ABC7 at 7, Alan Cohn is joined at the trapezoid by Jeff Young, known locally as The Gun Lawyer and Carol Rescigno of The Brady Campaign to end gun violence.
