PORT CHARLOTTE, FL-Sheriff’s Office detectives are working at least four daytime burglaries that occurred within the past two weeks at homes located just off Edgewater Drive in Port Charlotte.

On Friday March 14, two homes in the 200 block of South Waterway Drive were broken into between about 4:00 and 4:30 pm.  On Wednesday March 19 between about 3:45 and 6:00 pm, a home in the 100 block of SE Graham Street was similarly broken into.  A fourth burglary occurred on Monday March 24 when someone broke into a residence in the 100 block of Chelsea Court between about 2:30 and 5:00 pm.

In all instances, a rear sliding door had been pried open.  In one of the case, a witness noticed an older model white two-door vehicle in the area at about the time of the break-in.
