Police arrest woman for stabbing, robbing Sarasota resident

SARASOTA, Fla. -- A 28 year old woman is facing charges of Armed Burglary and Battery after police say she broke into a woman's home and stabbed her twice.

It happened early Sunday morning at the 3100 block of Leonard Reid Avenue in Sarasota.  According to The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, Natasha Davis entered the victim's residence and attacked the victim by stabbing her twice in the leg.

Davis then ran from the scene, but was later picked up by deputies near the 2300 block of 36th Street in Sarasota.  The victim was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital and treated.
