Nokomis street shut down as Sarasota Deputies respond to hazmat situation

NOKOMIS, FL-  A street in Nokomis was shut down after Sarasota County Deputies find items used to make methamphetamines. 

It happened at a home on Emerald Avenue Saturday morning.  Deputies were executing a search warrant when the chemical items were discovered.  Hazmat crews were called in to search the home.  Sarasota County Deputies continue to investigate.
