(WAAY) - Chick-Fil-A announced on Thursday that it has no plans to return coleslaw to its restaurants, The Business Insider reported.
A representative for the company said that it was not feasible to continue to add new items to the menu without taking away existing items. The coleslaw was removed from the menu back in January and replaced it with a kale and broccolini mix with maple dressing.
A rep for the company said the decision was a good one since the kale salad is outselling the coleslaw.
Fans of the coleslaw have been bombarding the restaurant on social media, some venting their anger at the change, others begging for a return of the slaw. In order to appease angry customers, Chick-Fil-A published a recipe to the coleslaw online back in December.
