NEW YORK (AP) -- Federal investigators are to begin interviewing crew members in the high-speed commuter ferry crash in New York City.

NTSB board member Robert Sumwalt says the interviews will take all day Thursday. He told Fox 5 News that they also will be documenting the damage on the pier in lower Manhattan. And engineers will begin to comb through the maintenance records of the Seastreak Wall Street catamaran.

Sumwalt says investigators also will be looking at a modification the vessel underwent about a year ago.

Dozens of people were injured, 11 seriously, in the crash Wednesday after leaving Atlantic Highlands, N.J.
