WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTXL) - Museums nationwide are honoring military personnel with free admission to service members and their families.

Free admission begins Memorial Day at 2,000 museums across the Country.  The program is a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Defense Department.

The offer continues through Labor Day in September.  It will be extended to military service members including National Guard and Reserve members, and their families.

Atlanta's High Museum is one of the latest additions to the more than 2,000 facilities participating this year.
