MANATEE COUNTY, FL- A Manatee County animal shelter raided earlier this month, has now been deemed a "sanitary nuisance" by the Health Department.

Reportedly, the Manatee County Health Department found numerous problems at Napier's Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.  Those problems include: accumulation of animal feces, rotting vegetables and rodent issues.  The owners, "Sheree and Alan Napier have 30-days to correct the problems or face fines.

Earlier this month authorities removed more than 3-hundred animals from the rescue because they were living in deplorable conditions, according to the Sheriff's Office.   Last week the Napier's filed bankruptcy, blocking a foreclosure sale of the sanctuary.  No charges have been filed in the animal removable case.
