Michael Rice convicted of Osprey murder

SARASOTA COUNTY- A South Carolina man charged with the murdering a man at a crowded Osprey tiki bar has been found guilty.

Michael Rice was convicted for the first-degree murder of 46 year old Phillippe Nahon.  The incident was caught on surveillance video at Bentley's Hotel on Memorial Day weekend in 2012.

The video is said to show Rice talking with Nahon at the bar, before pulling out a semi-automatic weapon and shooting him.

Rice has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
