BRADENTON - Deputies have identified the parents of two children found wandering in the Oneco area late Tuesday night.

The kids, 4-year old twin boys, were found by a homeowner in the 300 block of 60th Avenue East a little after 10pm. A Manatee County Sheriff’s report says the children were hysterical and couldn't find their dad.

After hours with no clue who the children belonged to, their mother, Alvina Blackball, claimed them Wednesday morning. She says she left the children with their father -- who suffers a drug problem – while she did the laundry. The father has not been located.

The boys remain in protective custody.

No word yet whether charges will be filed.
