$35,0000 worth of items stolen from Ellenton home

ELLENTON - An Ellenton woman loses thousands of dollars worth of possessions when her home is burglarized.

It happened Wednesday between 2:45 and 4:45 pm at the Oak Leaf Hammock subdivision.

According to Manatee County deputies, the thieves entered the home in the 4200 block of 70th Avenue East through a bedroom window.

They took three flat screen TV's, three laptops and jewelry amounting to about $35,000.

Detectives don't know how the suspects got away, and at this time all investigative leads have turned up empty.
