BRADENTON - A Bradenton man wanted for assaulting a law enforcement officer has been arrested after a vehicle pursuit in Bradenton.

On Tuesday around 4am, a deputy observed 38-year-old Marcus Miller of Bradenton on 1st Street East. He was wanted for aggravated assault on an LEO and also driving felony DWLSR. A report says Miller had fled from deputies multiple times during the previous week in the same vehicle.

A traffic stop was made on the 900 block of U.S. 301, but Miller fled the stop and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit reached a top speed of 90 MPH on U.S. 301.

Pursuit termination devices were successful deployed at 2600 15th Street East and 2000 Cortez Road West resulting in all 4 of the vehicle's tires being deflated.

Miller drove about a mile on 4 rims before crashing into a light pole at the Cortez Road and 1st Street intersection. He then went into a retention pond.

Miller faces multiple charges including Aggravated Fleeing to Elude and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
