Two people shot after experiencing car trouble

BRADENTON – Deputies are searching for a man who shot and injured two people that were having vehicle problems early Friday morning.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, around 4:30am a man and a woman were driving in the 1100 block of 60th Avenue Drive East when their vehicle broke down.

Investigators say the two victims were going to get help when an unknown man approached them. An argument began, and that's when deputies say the suspect pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The man was hit seven times in his legs, and the woman was shot once.

The suspect, identified only as an unknown black male, fled on foot.
