Suspect sought in armed robbery of Bradenton gas station

BRADENTON - Manatee County deputies are looking for the suspect responsible for the armed robbery of a Bradenton gas station.

It happened Tuesday around 7:15 pm at the Shell station in the 3400 block of Manatee Avenue West.

According to detectives, the man walked in and demanded money from the clerk. Once the register was opened, the suspect reached over the counter and took the entire till. A witness saw the man ride away on a bike toward Manatee Avenue.

A K-9 unit was unable to locate the robber.

The suspect is described as a black man wearing a black hoodie and shorts.
