Stabbing under investigation in Bradenton

BRADENTON, Fla. - Police are looking for a person responsible for a stabbing on Manatee Avenue West Tuesday afternoon.

It happened in the 1900 block of Manatee Avenue West shortly before 3:30pm.

Police have not released any info yet, but multiple witnesses tell ABC 7 that the suspect approached the victim, described as a middle-aged Hispanic man, in front of a construction site, and for unknown reasons stabbed the victim several times.

The suspect fled the area on foot.  There is no accurate description available yet.

The victim was taken to Blake Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
