Sheriff: Bradenton man stabbed after confrontation

BRADENTON - A Bradenton man has been sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed at a Bradenton apartment complex, and a teen has been arrested at the scene.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Gates of Bradenton apartments in the 4500 block of 26th Street West around 2:30pm Wednesday.

It was there they found 21-year-old Zachary Boone with stab wounds sustained after a confrontation involving several people.

Deputies arrested 18-year-old Daniel Sailor at the scene and charged him with Aggravated Battery.

Boone was taken to the hospital for treat.
