BRADENTON - In an effort to solve a few of its budget problems, the Manatee County School District is selling off some of its vehicles.

During a meeting Monday, board members voted to let district to sell off dozens of school district vehicles; most of them cars used occasionally by district workers.

Superintendent Rick Mills hopes the sale will generate thousands of dollars to put towards the district's capital fund. They hope to sell them in an auction next month.
