Red Cross assists resident after fire starts at Bradenton home

BRADENTON, FL. - Bradenton firefighters battled a house fire Wednesday morning.

At 10:04 am on Wednesday, the Bradenton Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 4104 40th Street West. Upon arrival, the first responding units found smoke and flames showing from the rear of the structure.

The situation was brought under control at 10:27 am.

There were no injuries, and one resident is being assisted by the Red Cross.

The damage to the home is estimated at $25,000. The cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation by Bradenton Fire Department personnel.
