BRADENTON - "Realize Bradenton", a promotional organization for the city, is sponsoring a summer program for High School Students, combining history, art and community service.

The students spend a week at Manatee Historical Village, and a week at the South Florida Museum learning about Bradenton's history from local experts.

Then on this final week, they take the stories they've heard and the history they've learned and turn those into pictures that will be used on post cards.

Those post cards will then be sold to promote Bradenton. The question these students were asked to answer in the project "Why do people choose to live in Bradenton" , "What's so great about this place".
