BRADENTON, Fla. - Witnesses are still in disbelief after a Pop Warner football practice turned into a crime scene Thursday night.

According to police, around 8pm Thursday 2 gunmen wearing mask began looking for 39-year-old Brenton Coleman. They found him at the 9th Ave Dream Center in east Bradenton as hundreds watched the first day of little league football practice.

About 400 people were at the scene when the shots rang out.  Witnesses say the group began to run for cover.

According to police the victim fell to ground and one of the shooters approached and fired a fatal shot that ended his life.

Coming up at 6pm we speak to a witness about the horrific situation.
