NY man dies in Palmetto motorcycle crash

MANATEE COUNTY – A New York man is dead after crashing his motorcycle Sunday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol says at around 11:30 am Sunday, 75-year-old Ronald Dollaway lost control of his Harley Davidson when he went around a curve on Taylor Grade Road in Duette. He ran off the road and crashed into a barbed wire fence.

Dollaway was wearing a helmet, but he died at the scene.
