HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY - A Manatee County Sheriff's deputy finds himself on the wrong side of the law after his arrest for child abuse.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies have arrested 24-year-old Richard Keefer. That's where Keefer lives.
He's accused of using a wire hanger to beat a 9-year-old on the back of the leg, and slapping the child across the face hard enough to leave marks.
