Man shot dead during Bradenton home invasion

BRADENTON - Manatee County detectives are looking for the suspect who shot and killed a man during a home invasion.

It happened early Sunday morning at the 2200 block of 15th Avenue East in Bradenton. Police say the man responsible robbed multiple duplexes before the victim confronted him and was shot dead.

The Bradenton Herald reports that the victim has been identified as Juan Enrique Medina.

The shooter has been described as 6'2" tall and about 170 pounds, and may have been wearing a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
