PALMETTO, FL. - A man is violently killed during a home invasion and now authorities are looking for those responsible for his death.

It happened around 1:30 Sunday at the Oakwood Village Apartments on 21st Street East.

Manatee County deputies say three men sat outside their duplex, when three other men with weapons of some kind walked up. The victims tried to get inside, but the attackers struck two of them, robbed them, and chased the third into the home. That third man is the one deputies found inside with fatal injuries. His name is Juan Gonzalez-Albino.

The investigation continues.

Anyone with information about a crime is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office at (941) 747-3011 or Crime Stoppers at (866) 634-TIPS (8477).
