BRADENTON, Fla. - A Manatee County Sheriff's helicopter and K-9 helped track down two home invasion suspects Monday.

Investigators say the suspects took off from a home on 34th Avenue East after the homeowner confronted them.

The aviation unit watched from above as the suspects crashed their car along 53rd Avenue East. The driver was immediately arrested, and the K-9 unit tracked his accomplice to a nearby utility shed.

This type of thing is happening more and more , sure an alarm will call authorities and help is on its way . and a gun is great if you can get to it load it and shoot first . I decided to take a more proactive stance! In the past few months I have secured my home with the Gibraltdoor , it is home invasion proof, I even put one on my master bedroom closet and created a walk in safe /panic room to run too! .find them on facebook and or online Gibraltdoor. this door is so tough even the police battering ram cant get through. they have a video on their website Gibraltdoor
