MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Three men charged with beating a disabled man at the Bradenton Riverwalk skate park will now face hate crime charges.  Those new charges could mean life in prison if the men are convicted.

The state attorney's office reportedly filed hate crime charges after speaking with the victim.

Devin Wilson, Rubier Zaldivar, and Christopher Lovell are charged with beating the victim, recording it, and posting it on Facebook.

The men made a first appearance in court on the new charges yesterday.
