MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Florida Governor Rick Scott is on the Suncoast today, welcoming new jobs and celebrating the longevity of a local business.

Governor Scott, who prides himself in bringing new jobs to the state, was in Port Manatee Thursday morning for Air Products' official opening of its new facility. The company expects to hire some 250 employees over a four-year span to operate the facility, where they'll manufacture heat exchangers.

From there the governor traveled to Bradenton, where he's helping Mixon Fruit Farms celebrate its 75th anniversary. Mixon Fruit Farms is one of the state's top gift fruit shippers.

We'll have much more on Gov. Scott's visit to the Suncoast, and how it is related to his re-election campaign, coming up in our evening newscasts.

Scott is weird. florida needs a libertarian revolution where we kick out of office all of these phony, sellout "conservatives".
