Deputies: Car windows shot out during drug deal

PALMETTO - One driver was injured Monday night when they say somebody shot the windows out of their vehicle following a drug deal.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, around 8:30pm a vehicle drove up to Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton with its windows shot out.  The driver, 28-year-old Bradley Neel, was injured by shattering glass.

Neel told deputies that he and his 21-year-old passenger were in the car near the intersection of 18th Avenue East and 17th Street East in Palmetto and had sold marijuana to two people when someone shot at them.

No arrests have been made.
