Death being investigated as homicide in Bradenton

BRADENTON, Fla. - Police are investigating what they say is a homicide discovered in a Bradenton home Wednesday morning.

According to the Bradenton Police Department, officers responded to a call of a medical emergency at a home in 1900 block of 7th Avenue East at around 9:15am.

Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 23-year-old Michael Wesley and pronounced him dead at the scene.

This is the 5th Homicide that has occurred within the City of Bradenton during 2013.
