Bradenton woman robbed, held captive in home

BRADENTON, FL. - A Bradenton woman is robbed and held captive in her own home.

It happened Wednesday around 9pm in the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive East.

According to Manatee County deputies, the woman had just returned home from dinner when she got a knock at the door. Looking out her peep hole she didn't see anyone, so she opened the door. That's when the suspect forced his way into the home and demanded money and other items. He then forced the victim into her closet and fled.

He is described as a black man about 5ft/6 to 5ft/8 inches tall, 150 to 165 pounds. He had dreadlocks and was wearing a green t-shirt and jeans.
