BRADENTON, FL. - Authorities are investigating a shooting involving 2 vehicles on Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 12 p.m., deputies responded to a report of shots fired from 2 vehicles in the area of 12th Street West and 60th Avenue in Bradenton. A short time later, one of the vehicles believed to be involved in the shooting was stopped at the corner of 301 Blvd. West and the 9th Street Extension.

The driver of the vehicle, 36-year-old Elon-Dombe Dula had a wound to his elbow, which could have been from a gunshot. He did not cooperate with authorities about the shooting and was transported to the hospital for treatment of the minor injury.

After Dula was taken to hospital, detectives were told that the wound to his elbow is not from a gunshot. Dula was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License and remains a person of interest in the shooting.

At this time, the second vehicle has not been located.

The investigation continues.
