Back-to-School information phone Line starts Wednesday

BRADENTON, FL. - A special “Back-to-School Parent Information Phone Line” will be available to answer questions about the start of the new school year beginning Wednesday at 8 a.m.

The Back-to-School Parent Information Phone Line number is (941) 782-1BUS, or (941) 782-1287.

The purpose of the phone line is to answer questions regarding registration, school zones, bus stop locations and times, home education and other questions that often arise at the beginning of a new school year.

Times for the phone line are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Wednesday, August 7, 2013, through Friday, August 16, 2013. Manatee District students begin the 2013-2014 school year on Monday, August 19, 2013, so times for the Back-to-School Parent Information Phone Line on Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 20th, will be from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
