1 arrested, 1 sought for selling fraudulent cruise packages

BRADENTON – Bradenton authorities have arrested a man sought for selling fraudulent cruise packages.

On April 1 around 12:30 p.m., a Bradenton detective located and arrested 22-year-old Todd Kelley.

Kelly subsequently confessed to 4 Felony counts of Engaging in a Scheme to Defraud and Obtain Property – Less than $20,000.

There are active arrest warrants for 25-year-old Dale Lucas of Bradenton, who may have fled the State of Florida.

The City of Bradenton Police Department was recently contacted by victims who claim they were sold fraudulent cruise packages from a pair of individuals who claim that they are authorized to sell cruise packages, or travel related services on behalf of a well-known Internet site.
