Arrest made in Tuesday's bank robbery

BRADENTON, Fla. - Detectives have arrested the man they say robbed a Bradenton Wells Fargo earlier this week.

The robbery happened at the Wells Fargo on Cortez Road just off 14th Street West at around 9:20am Tuesday.

Witnesses say that the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money.  A weapon was implied but not seen. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled the bank on foot.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, 59-year-old Otto Nunez was arrested Thursday without incident for the robbery.  He has been charged with Robbery.
