13-year-old teen goes missing after school

MANATEE COUNTY - Detectives are searching for 13-year old Alan Baily who was reported as a runaway on Monday after he didn’t return home after school.

Wednesday, a friend of the missing boy received a text message from him saying he was going to harm himself.

Alan is 5’9, 100 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with Everglades University on the front, a yellow Horizons School shirt and grey sweatpants.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Manatee Sheriff’s Office at 941-747-3011.
