10-year-old pulls knife on boy at Bradenton school

BRADENTON, FL. - A 10-year-old boy is accused of pulling a knife on another boy at a Bradenton elementary school.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday around 1:30 pm, deputies responded to a report of a student with a knife at Bayshore Elementary School located at 6120 26th Street West in Bradenton.

According to witnesses, the boy was in possession of a pocket knife. During recess, he pulled the knife on an 8-year-old boy and told him not to tell teachers he had the knife.

No one was injured during the incident. The 10-year-old was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Knife and Possessing a Weapon on School Property.
