BRADENTON, Fla. – Manatee County's administrator has released his 2015 budget recommendations to county commissioners. The $527 million budget includes funding for state mandates, employee raises, and capital investments.

County officials hope this will help bring jobs to the area. Officials say increasing property values have resulted in a 7% increase in property tax revenue, which the county says will fund items in the budget.

But even with the increased funding, the county is still operating at a loss.

The Manatee County budget also includes $24 million for community health care programs. But the source for that funding is set to expire at the end of 2015.

ABC 7's Roderick Fetsch filed the following report on what comes next.
