SARASOTA - Traffic was backed up for a short time Monday morning after a vehicle crash in Sarasota.
It happened around 10:30 am at the intersection of 17th Street and Tuttle Avenue in Sarasota.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a white compact car driving southbound on Tuttle attempted to turn east onto 17th Street, when a red van crashed into her.
Two women had to be taken to area hospitals with injuries.
No word if charges will be filed.
