Woman says she was attacked while running on track in Bradenton

BRADENTON, FL. - Authorities are investigating an incident where a woman says she was attacked while running track next to a Bradenton elementary school.

It happened Wednesday at Samoset Elementary School, which is located at 3300 19th Street East.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the 23-year-old victim says she was running on a track next to Samoset Elementary, when she was attacked by two men. They attempted to remove her clothing, but she was able to break free and challenge them with a weapon. The suspects fled the area on foot and could not be located. She was not injured during the incident.

The suspects are described as a black male, 6'3'' Thin build in his 20's, wearing a red Michael Jordan hoodie and black pants, and a white or Hispanic male in his 20’s, wearing yellow A-shirt, neon orange shorts, muscular build, with tattoo of pinup girl on his arm.
