Jolene Turner, was a pretty interesting women. She gave birth to 3 children, she spoke to her older daughter everyday and her older daughter called her all hours of the day and night just to vent, Jolene was just a phone call away. Although Jolene didn't raise her children to best of her ability, if you went through her belongings you would find pictures and post cards and nicknacks representing her family values.

If you were to look up Jolene Turner or any other name she used .. you'll find mug shots, you will also notice she stood her ground in many of the arrests she had.

In my opinion Jolene Turner was getting older and realizing her medical issues were becoming very severe .. running the streets seemed just a bit over-rated.

March is a rough month for Jolene's family, her youngest brother was killed in March, Jolenes step father died of Cancer in March, and the parents of Jolene have Suffered enough having to loose yet another child.

Whom ever did this, I hope karma plays it role.

The main reason it lacks information is because no one has information to release. Her lovely family is far from FL & in many homicide cases the information shouldn't be released to the public during the investigation.

The media can't find a story due to her family living up north. I was down there a few days ago to pick up my mothers belongings and ended up in the field ... & seen this homeless camp, someone had to have seen or heard something ...

In my opinion media ruins investigations and there's no need for compassion from the media at this time ..

The media has no story that's why there is no compassion or details.

But in my opinion my mom held her ground, she has been my go to girl all hours of the day and or night when I needed to talk. We spoke daily, and my mom valued her family more then anything since she's spent the last few years in fl. She was far from home & loved/missed her 3 children. She was a good person ...

How sad that the death Jolene Turner was summarized in 3 paragraphs lacking any compassion regarding this tragic homicide. Why was this woman not worthy of a brief description of who she actually was. Is it because in that particular area there is a homeless camp...and anyone found dead there is just another statistic rather than a human soul whos life came to an unfortunate end. If this homocide took place in LakeWood Ranch would the victim then be worthy of a little compassion in the news reporting of her death. [sad]
