MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A woman died Wednesday from head injuries sustained in an argument with her husband last weekend on Passage Key off Anna Maria Island.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the sandbar around 10pm on Sunday night after reports of a woman lost in the water.
Crews were able to locate 45-year-old Pamela Doster back on the sandbar with a head injury.
Investigators say she had been in an argument with her husband, 49-year-old Michael Doster, after she says she saw him having sexual relations with another man. She said that as the two were riding back to land on a personal watercraft, Micheal had reached back and pulled her off the craft. After climbing back on several times and being pulled off again, the last time she hit her head on the watercraft.
She was taken to the hospital, but died Wednesday from the injuries.
Michael Doster was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. He later bonded out from jail.
